What Causes Sciatica
Sciatica is most commonly caused by a herniated or bulging disc. Spinal stenosis may also be a cause of sciatica. It's important to understand is that sciatica is the symptom of a problem not a medical diagnosis or disorder. This is an important distinction because it is the underlying cause of the sciatica that often needs to be treated in order to relieve sciatic nerve pain.
